We operate at the above address in three new factory units totalling 10,000 sq. Ft and a team at present of six people on site and one director, a company secretary and one part time cad designer who work mainly off site for logistical reasons.
Here we manufacture, using our own machinery and equipment and with the help of subcontract suppliers, steel and cellulose fibre faced friction discs widely used in the gearboxes and brakes of industrial vehicles such as dump trucks, tractors, excavators, fork lift trucks etc.
The company had its origins in Nottingham where it was founded in 1972.
The business was transferred to Sutton-in-Ashfield to take advantage of improved factory accomodation and access to a good labour market.
The business has expanded three fold since this move, taking the second unit in Feb 2002 and the third in january 2005, investing substantially in new equipment and processes and increasing its labour force from 5 to 9. |
